As an artist, I strive to do my best in delivering my narrative stories to life, leaving behind emotional messages to the audience. In the future, I aspire to be a well-known artist on social media platforms and work as an animator in my own studio.
“Sacrificium” is a comic zine as a continuation to my illustration concept book "if only I knew", which explores the theme of depression as a major social issue to raise public awareness. The idea of the story of both project 1 and 2 is inspired by a person I personally knew. In "Sacrificium”, I hope to further explore the theme of depression by creating a story of Emma and Clive, whose roles are merely lessons to be learnt by society. This would evoke readers to think about the consequences of their actions that cannot be undone.
