What I look forward to most in the coming semester of Design Project is being able to create and construct something for the the final project which is the exhibition, I feel as though it will challenge me as a designer to construct a model/piece.
3 Goals for my Design Portfolio:
- Complete all the necessary work before hand or on time
- Make sure it is organised and easy to follow
- Make sure the portfolio follows a certain theme
This week, I enjoyed the different types of images variations that we explored in session B, it was fun walking around and looking for things to capture in the different techniques/forms.
This week, I didn't understand the assessment, the assessment at first was quite unclear but after going through it in depth I was able to grasp what needs to be done.
Week 2
Manifesto Draft:
As a future designer, I have the responsibility of being able to place myself in a position where I am neutral and allow concepts and ideas to be expressed through a detailed and explorative lens. My goal as a designer is to produce ideas that are creative and unique, ideas that would in turn make the customer happy. The effect the design has on both the designer and customer is crucial, as a designer you need to express yourself through the wants of your customer. I aim to become an architect and one day own my own business, where I can express my creativeness and help people bring their ideas to life.

This week my workshop introduced me to different types of collage construction and the exploration of rapid drawings.
This week, I enjoyed the different types of collages I was able to create.
This week, I didn't understand the rapid drawing tasks at the beginning but I slowly got the hang of it.

This week my workshop introduced me to the different ways of how to create a text as an image.
This week, I enjoyed the different types fonts that I explored when doing the first workshop task.
This week, I didn't understand workshop task 2, but I still took the images required.
